Description:
We are looking for a high-ownership commercial leader to scale the packaged foods business (breads, cookies, tea cakes and more) across Q-Commerce channels. This role is critical to driving 10x revenue growth over the next 5 years and will own the channel end-to-endfrom strategy to execution to P&L delivery.
You will work closely with NPD, supply chain, finance, and leadership to build a scalable packaged foods portfolio and drive best-in-class distribution, visibility, and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. P&L Ownership & Growth:
- Own the Q-Commerce P&L, delivering aggressive revenue, margin, and contribution goals.
- Build and execute a 5-year growth roadmap to scale the business 10x.
- Define annual operating plans (AOP) and quarterly targets.
2. Channel Strategy & Execution:
- Lead national key account relationships across Q-Commerce marketplaces.
- Drive assortment planning, pricing, promotions, visibility, and channel-specific initiatives.
- Ensure flawless execution across platforms, partners, and offline formats.
3. Portfolio & Product Development:
- Partner with NPD to develop and refine packaged food products (breads, cookies, tea cakes, etc.).
- Re-engineer products where required to meet shelf-life, cost, and channel needs.
- Align product launches with channel-specific opportunities.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Work closely with supply chain, operations, finance, and marketing to ensure timely launches and execution.
- Coordinate demand planning, inventory availability, and service levels across channels.
5. Team Leadership:
- Lead a small but sharp commercial team (currently 2 members); set up processes, performance metrics, and org capability as the business scales.
- Get hands-on and operate with a builder mindset.
6. Business Building:
- Build scalable distribution, visibility, and repeat engines across top marketplaces and modern trade chains.
- Strengthen partnerships with key retailer stakeholders to drive joint business plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Packaged foods/beverages experience is not mandatory but is an advantage.
- Experience with high-growth consumer brands or having built a channel from scratch preferred.
- Founders or early-stage builders open to exploring are welcome.
