Key Responsibilities :

- Strategic Business Growth: Drive sales, procurement, and trading strategies to expand the pulses business across domestic and institutional markets.

- P&L Ownership: Ensure profitability and optimize working capital utilization for the pulses trading vertical.

- Government & Institutional Sales: Manage tender-based sales (TNCSC, NCCF, NAFED,, etc.) and institutional buyer relationships.

- Procurement & Supplier Management: Build and manage a robust procurement network with farmers, traders, and global suppliers for consistent quality and pricing.

- Market Intelligence & Risk Management: Track commodity prices, demand- supply dynamics, and hedge risks effectively.

- Operations & Logistics Coordination: Work closely with logistics, warehousing, and quality control teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Candidate Profile :

- 15+ years of experience in pulses trading, agri-business, or commodity procurement.

- Strong background in bulk commodity trading, government tenders, and institutional sales.

- Expertise in price forecasting, risk management, and procurement strategies.

- Strong industry network with suppliers, traders, and regulatory bodies.

- Ability to drive business expansion and improve operational efficiencies.
