To drive the next phase of expansion and innovation in their Power Division, they are seeking an experienced, visionary, and commercially astute Business Head.
Role Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Head to lead our Power Division, focusing on Inverter and UPS solutions. This is a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility. The ideal candidate will have deep domain experience, a strong network in the industry, and a proven track record in scaling business operations, managing sales channels, marketing, pricing strategy, and leading high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic & P&L Leadership:
- Own and drive the division's Profit and Loss performance.
- Develop long-term strategies and annual operating plans.
- Identify opportunities for business growth, market expansion, and operational efficiency.
Sales & Business Development:
- Lead Channel Sales and B2B Sales initiatives across regions.
- Establish strong distribution and dealer networks.
- Drive key account management with corporate/B2B clients.
Marketing & Brand Management:
- Define and implement the marketing strategy for the division.
- Oversee product positioning, branding, digital and offline marketing campaigns.
- Analyze market trends and competitor performance to drive differentiation.
Product Management & Pricing:
- Collaborate with Product Managers to ensure a competitive and innovative product portfolio.
- Develop pricing strategies to maximize margins while remaining competitive.
- Stay updated on technology trends and customer needs.
Principal Relationship Management:
- Manage relationships and joint initiatives with principals and OEM partners.
- Represent the company in technical and strategic discussions with global/local technology partners.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead a cross-functional team across sales, marketing, service, and support functions.
- Drive performance management, leadership development, and employee engagement.
- Foster a culture of accountability, customer centricity, and innovation.
Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- 18-25 years in the Inverter / UPS / Power Electronics sector.
- Significant experience in P&L ownership and leading business units.
Functional Skills:
- Strong exposure to channel development, corporate sales, and product marketing.
- Proven ability to work with principals/OEMs, both domestic and international.
- Excellent negotiation, pricing, and commercial acumen.
Leadership Attributes:
- Visionary leadership with strong execution skills.
- High emotional intelligence and people management capabilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
Educational Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Power Systems.
- MBA preferred (Marketing/Strategy).
