Role Overview:

As the Business Head for Micro LAP, you will spearhead the strategic expansion and operational excellence of our secured lending vertical in Jaipur. This role involves managing the entire lifecycle of the Micro LAP portfolio, from market penetration and customer acquisition to credit quality maintenance and AUM growth. You will collaborate closely with regional sales teams, credit committees, and senior leadership to ensure that our lending products meet the evolving needs of small business owners while maintaining a healthy risk profile. Your leadership will be pivotal in scaling our regional operations and establishing Huntsmen & Barons as a preferred partner for micro-entrepreneurs in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive AUM growth for the Micro LAP portfolio across the designated territory.

- Oversee the end-to-end loan origination process, ensuring high standards of credit appraisal and compliance with internal risk policies.

- Build and mentor high-performing sales teams to achieve aggressive disbursement targets while maintaining portfolio quality.

- Cultivate and manage relationships with key channel partners, distributors, and local business associations to expand market reach.

- Monitor portfolio health and delinquency metrics, implementing proactive recovery strategies to ensure long-term asset quality.

- Analyze regional market trends and competitor activities to refine product offerings and maintain a competitive edge in the secured lending space.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale secured lending portfolios, specifically within the Micro LAP or MSME finance segments.

- Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

- Strong analytical acumen to evaluate credit risk and market opportunities, ensuring sustainable growth of the AUM.

- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, essential for building trust with business owners and managing stakeholder expectations.

- Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and internal compliance frameworks with precision.

- A minimum of 15 - 20 years of professional experience in the financial services industry, with a significant portion spent in leadership roles within the lending sector.

- Proficiency in managing on-site operations in Jaipur, with the flexibility to travel across the region as required by business demands.
