Business Head - Marketing
The Business Head of Marketing will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy to drive revenue growth and brand awareness.
This role requires a highly strategic and results-oriented individual with proven experience leading and managing marketing teams in a B2B environment.
The objective is to build and strengthen brand presence, generate high-quality leads, and ultimately contribute significantly to the company's bottom line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Lead and manage a high-performing marketing team, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring optimal ROI on all marketing initiatives.
- Oversee all aspects of the marketing mix, including digital marketing, content marketing, event marketing, and public relations.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Develop and implement lead generation strategies to support the sales team.
- Track key marketing metrics and provide regular reports on performance.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure alignment between marketing and sales activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Develop and maintain a strong brand identity and messaging across all channels.
- Stay abreast of the latest marketing trends and technologies.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in using marketing analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Expertise in SEO, SEM, and social media marketing.
- Proficiency in using design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite desirable, not mandatory).
- Experience with marketing budget management and financial reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing successful B2B marketing strategies.
Skills & Experience:
- Marketing: Deep understanding of the entire marketing landscape, including traditional and digital channels.
- Proven ability to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns that drive results.
- Sales: Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to collaborate effectively with the sales team.
- Experience in lead nurturing and lead qualification is crucial.
- B2B Sales: Significant experience in generating leads and closing deals in a B2B environment.
- Understanding of B2B buyer behavior and decision-making processes is essential.
- Digital Marketing: Extensive experience with various digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Proven ability to leverage digital marketing to generate leads and drive revenue.
