
Business Head - IT Products & Services (Mini CEO / CSO)
Location: Chennai, India
Experience: 20-25+ years

Reporting To: GCEO
Note: We are specifically looking for candidates with a strong background in IT Services and/or IT Products organizations.
About the Role
We are hiring a seasoned Business Leader to head an IT Products & Services business unit with end-to-end P&L ownership. This role operates as a "Mini CEO", driving strategy, growth, delivery excellence, and organizational leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. P&L Ownership:
- Own full P&L including revenue, margins, costs, and cash flow
- Drive AOPs, budgets, and forecasting aligned to business strategy
- Ensure profitability via pricing, cost optimization, and utilization
2. Strategy & Growth:
- Define and execute GTM strategy across digital, cloud, SaaS, data, and platforms
- Identify new markets, verticals, and growth opportunities
- Lead partnerships, alliances, and inorganic growth initiatives
3. Sales & Client Leadership:
- Drive revenue growth across enterprise and strategic accounts
- Close large, complex deals with CXO stakeholders
- Build OEM, hyperscaler, ISV, and GSI partnerships
4. Delivery & Operations:
- Ensure high-quality, predictable delivery across engagements
- Oversee program governance, risk, and customer satisfaction
- Optimize global delivery (onsite-offshore balance)
5. Leadership & Organization Building:
- Build and lead high-performing teams across sales, delivery, and functions
- Drive talent strategy, succession planning, and performance culture
6. CEO / Board Interface:
- Act as strategic partner to CEO
- Present business performance, risks, and growth plans
- Drive governance and organizational vision

Qualifications:
- Engineering degree (mandatory)
- MBA / PGDM (preferred)
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience as Business Head / BU Head / COO / Country Head
- Must have worked in IT Services and/or IT Product companies
- Strong track record in scaling revenue and improving margins
- Experience working with global clients, leadership teams, and boards
