Role Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Business Head Home Interiors to lead and scale a fast-growing interior solutions business. This role carries complete P&L ownership and is responsible for building a profitable, scalable, and customer-centric interiors vertical covering design, sales, execution, supply chain, and partner ecosystem.
The ideal candidate has successfully managed an end-to-end interior or home solutions business, driven revenue growth, improved unit economics, and scaled multi-city operations while maintaining strong delivery and customer experience standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Business & P&L Ownership:
- Own full P&L responsibility for the interiors business including revenue, gross margins, cost structures, and profitability.
- Define and execute the business strategy, annual operating plan, budgets, and growth roadmap.
- Drive unit economics improvement through pricing, cost optimization, vendor efficiencies, and operational excellence.
- Monitor KPIs including revenue, contribution margin, customer acquisition cost, delivery timelines, and customer satisfaction.
Growth & Go-to-Market:
- Lead revenue growth through multiple channels including direct sales, partnerships, marketplaces, and strategic alliances.
- Develop and scale city-wise expansion strategies with clear revenue and profitability targets.
- Build partnerships with real estate developers, suppliers, brands, and channel partners to accelerate growth.
- Identify and launch new product categories such as modular kitchens, wardrobes, renovations, or packaged interior offerings.
Operations & Execution Excellence:
- Oversee end-to-end interior delivery including design, project management, procurement, installation, and post-handover support.
- Build robust execution frameworks to ensure on-time delivery, quality control, and minimal rework.
- Strengthen vendor, contractor, and designer ecosystems to ensure scale, consistency, and cost efficiency.
- Implement SOPs, governance models, and performance metrics across operations.
Team Leadership & Organization Building:
- Build and lead large cross-functional teams across sales, design, operations, supply chain, and customer experience.
- Hire, mentor, and retain senior leaders and high-performing teams.
- Foster a performance-driven, customer-first culture with strong accountability and ownership.
Customer Experience & Brand:
- Own overall customer experience from lead conversion to final handover.
- Drive continuous improvement in NPS, repeat business, and referrals.
- Work closely with marketing teams to position the interiors business as a trusted, scalable, and premium offering.
Experience:
- 10+ years of total experience with significant leadership tenure in home interiors, home solutions, or related businesses.
- Proven experience in managing full P&L for an interior design / turnkey / modular / home improvement business.
- Experience scaling operations across multiple cities or regions.
- Prior exposure to marketplace, platform, or high-volume consumer businesses is strongly preferred.
