Role Overview:
The Business Head - Gold Loan Vertical will be responsible for leading, strategizing, and expanding the Gold Loan business across multiple states. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep industry expertise, strong leadership, and a proven track record in business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Expansion:
- Develop and implement strategies to scale the Gold Loan business.
- Identify new markets, set up branches, and drive branch profitability.
- Work closely with the leadership team to achieve AUM growth targets.
Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Drive customer acquisition and increase the Gold Loan portfolio.
- Optimize pricing, interest rates, and product offerings for maximum profitability.
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales and operations team.
- Set clear performance metrics and ensure achievement of business goals.
Risk Management & Compliance:
- Ensure robust risk assessment, collateral security, and regulatory compliance.
- Work with internal teams to maintain low NPAs and high portfolio quality.
Key Requirements:
Education: Graduate/Postgraduate (MBA preferred)
Experience: 12+ years in Gold Loan business (NBFC/BFSI sector)
Skills:
- Strong expertise in business expansion, risk management, and P&L ownership
- Leadership ability to drive strategic growth and operational excellence
- Strong market knowledge of Gold Loan lending practices and customer behavior
Travel: Willingness to travel extensively across operational regions
