Business Head - General & Life Insurance

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the overall business strategy to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market leadership.

- Lead business growth initiatives across existing and new markets, channels, and customer segments.

- Drive business transformation and change management initiatives to improve scale, efficiency, and customer experience.

- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies for market expansion and diversification.

- Own key business metrics including revenue, profitability, market share, customer acquisition, and operational performance.

- Build and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, distributors, and industry ecosystem players.

- Lead and mentor large, diverse, cross-functional teams, fostering a high-performance culture.

- Work closely with functional leaders across sales, operations, technology, product, finance, risk, and compliance to deliver business objectives.

- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities across General and Life Insurance.

- Develop and implement initiatives to strengthen customer acquisition, retention, distribution, and overall business performance.

- Present business strategy, performance, and growth plans to senior leadership/management.

Candidate Profile:

- Mandatory: Strong experience in General Insurance.

- Good knowledge and understanding of the Life Insurance business.

- Proven track record of leading business growth, transformation, and market expansion.

- Experience managing large teams with diverse functions and profiles.

- Strong commercial and strategic thinking with demonstrated P&L/business ownership experience.

- Excellent understanding of insurance distribution, products, customers, and market dynamics.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and execution skills.

- Ability to operate in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and drive large-scale initiatives from strategy to execution.
