Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Growth Leadership: Drive the agency's next phase of growth by developing and executing strategic business development plans within the experiential marketing and events sector.
New Business Acquisition: Lead aggressive new business generation efforts, consistently achieving and exceeding an annual target of - 2 Cr+ in new business.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, inspire, and mentor high-performing Business Development (BD) teams within the experiential/events industry, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Client Relationship Building: Leverage a strong existing network and actively cultivate new relationships to open doors, close deals, and build lasting, mutually beneficial client partnerships.
Market & Industry Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs within the experiential marketing landscape to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
Entrepreneurial Drive: Operate with a strong entrepreneurial mindset - being hands-on, highly driven, and unafraid of taking smart, calculated risks to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Brand Experience Development: Champion the agency's vision for building impactful brand experiences that deliver tangible business results for clients.
Collaboration & Execution: Work closely with creative, operations, and account management teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns from pitch to delivery.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
- 7+ years in Business Development specifically within an experiential marketing or event agency.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve - 2 Cr+ in new business annually.
- Leadership: Prior experience leading high-performing BD teams in the experiential/events industry.
- Strategic Thinker & Doer: A strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves and get things done, combining high-level planning with practical execution.
- Networking Prowess: A strong networker with exceptional abilities to open doors, negotiate, close deals, and build lasting client relationships.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Highly hands-on, hungry for success, and comfortable with calculated risks to drive growth.
- Passion for Experiences: Passionate about building brand experiences that deliver real business impact for clients.
- Scaling Ambition: Excited about scaling something meaningful, not just managing existing operations
