Location: [Delhi-NCR]

Experience: 15-25 years

Qualification: B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical; M.Tech preferred; MBA from a reputed institute (desirable); Certifications in semiconductor manufacturing and/or operations (advantageous)

Job Overview:


We are seeking an accomplished and strategic leader to spearhead our Electronics & Semiconductor business division. The Business Head will be responsible for driving growth, building strategic partnerships, overseeing operations, and ensuring the overall success of our electronics manufacturing and semiconductor ecosystem initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, proven leadership capabilities, and a strong technical and commercial background.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Strategy & Business Leadership


- Develop and execute the overall business strategy aligned with corporate goals.

- Identify growth opportunities and drive the expansion of the electronics and semiconductor vertical.

- Lead market analysis, competitive positioning, and innovation initiatives.


2. Partnerships, M&A & Ecosystem Building


- Forge and nurture strategic alliances, joint ventures, and collaborations within the semiconductor ecosystem.

- Identify and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and partnership opportunities.

- Foster relationships with key industry stakeholders, technology providers, and ecosystem partners.


3. Government Engagement & Incentive Management


- Engage with government agencies and industry bodies to leverage incentives, grants, and policy support.

- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure compliance.

- Advocate for favorable policies that support business growth.


4. Business Development & Customer Acquisition


- Drive customer engagement, retention, and new client acquisition.

- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies.

- Represent the company at industry events and forums.


5. Operations & Technical Oversight


- Oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance.

- Provide technical guidance, especially in PCB/PCBA, HDI, IC substrates, OSAT/ATMP, compound semiconductors, or advanced packaging.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.


6. Financial Management & P&L Ownership


- Manage P&L responsibilities, budgets, and financial forecasting.

- Drive profitability, cost optimization, and ROI-focused investments.

- Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as needed.


7. Team Building & Leadership


- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team.

- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.

- Lead change management during transformational initiatives.


Qualifications & Experience:


- Educational Qualification: B.Tech in Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical; M.Tech preferred. MBA from a reputed institute is desirable.

- Industry Experience: 15-25 years in electronics manufacturing or the semiconductor ecosystem.

- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of PCB/PCBA, HDI, IC substrates, OSAT/ATMP, compound semiconductors, or advanced packaging.

- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to set up and scale manufacturing units (greenfield or brownfield projects).


Preferred Attributes:


- Prior experience with multinational companies such as AT&S, Unimicron, TSMC supply chain, ASE, Amkor, Foxconn, Tata Electronics, CG Power, Syrma, etc.

- Exposure to defense electronics, automotive electronics, telecom modules, or power electronics.

- Global exposure in supply chain hubs such as Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, Korea, or Europe.

- Strategic thinking with execution focus

- Negotiation and stakeholder management skills

- Financial modeling and ROI analysis expertise

- Cross-cultural communication skills

- Deep understanding of semiconductor equipment, materials, and processes
