A leading platform in the employability and skilling space is seeking a Business Head to lead its early-career division focused on vocational training and job-readiness. The role involves full P&L ownership, strategic growth, and deep employer engagement across Tier 2/3 markets. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end business operations with full P&L ownership, driving topline growth and sustainable profitability - Define and execute a scalable go-to-market strategy across key geographies, especially underserved markets - Build and deepen partnerships with employers, educational institutions, staffing firms, and government bodies - Create differentiated product offerings and pricing strategies tailored to diverse learner segments - Establish a strong placement engine by cultivating employer relationships and ensuring job linkages - Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance learner experience, operational efficiency, and reporting rigor - Build high-performing, cross-functional teams across sales, operations, academics, and partnerships - Set up robust systems and processes for delivery excellence, compliance, and performance monitoring - Continuously assess market trends, competition, and learner needs to inform innovation and business direction - Represent the business externally with key partners, funders, and ecosystem stakeholders Ideal Candidate: - 1520 years of experience with strong P&L ownership in the skilling/education sector - Proven success in scaling businesses in unstructured markets - Deep understanding of vocational training, early-career hiring, and employer ecosystems - Experience managing stakeholders, including staffing firms and government bodies - Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and people management skills Location: Mumbai or Delhi, with frequent travel
