Our client is a globally integrated agri-business group with a strong presence across Africa, Asia, and other international markets. The organization operates across the entire agricultural value chain, including sourcing, processing, trading, logistics, and distribution of agri-commodities such as oilseeds and edible oils. With robust infrastructure, deep market expertise, and a strong focus on building sustainable supply chains, the company is a key player in global agri-commodity trading.

Role Purpose:

The role will lead the end-to-end edible oil business, with full ownership of P&L, sales, and commercial strategy. The position requires a strong leader who can drive growth, manage large-scale operations, and build a profitable and scalable edible oil business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and drive the P&L for the edible oil business

- Lead sales and distribution strategy, including FMCG and institutional channels

- Manage procurement and sourcing of oilseeds and edible oils

- Develop and expand market presence across geographies

- Drive pricing, margins, and profitability optimization

- Monitor market trends, demand-supply dynamics, and competitor activity

- Build and manage relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners

- Work closely with operations, supply chain, and finance teams for smooth execution

- Lead and mentor high-performing cross-functional teams

Candidate Profile:

- 15-20 years of experience in edible oil/agri commodities / FMCG

- Minimum 5 years of direct P&L ownership in edible oil business

- Strong exposure to FMCG sales and distribution networks

- Proven track record in scaling business and driving profitability

- Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills

- Experience in handling large teams and multi-location operations

- MBA from a premier institute (mandatory)
