Role Overview:

The eCommerce Business Head will lead the strategy and execution of digital growth across a multi-brand, omnichannel business. The role is responsible for driving revenue, profitability, and customer experience across all online channels while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- The role owns end-to-end P&L for the online business, including planning, forecasting, and tracking performance against targets. It involves leading pricing, promotions, and discounting strategies to balance growth and margins, managing marketing budgets, and optimizing CAC-to-LTV ratios for sustainable ROI. The incumbent will build channel-wise sales forecasts, execute initiatives to exceed revenue goals, and ensure cost efficiency across digital operations.

- The position will design and execute full-funnel digital marketing strategies across acquisition, engagement, and retention. Responsibilities include overseeing SEO, SEM, performance marketing, email, social media, and display campaigns, building influencer, affiliate, and partnership programs, and leading CRM segmentation, automation, and re-engagement initiatives to improve repeat purchase rates. Continuous optimization of funnels, conversion metrics, and customer journeys is a core expectation.

- The role will drive platform performance and technology adoption, including site optimization, mobile responsiveness, UX improvements, analytics, and A/B testing to improve conversion and checkout experiences. It will ensure catalogue accuracy, tagging, and search optimization, and provide data-driven insights to merchandising and product teams based on customer behavior and performance trends.

- The eCommerce Business Head will manage relationships with agencies, marketing partners, and logistics providers, while collaborating closely with brand, retail, merchandising, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution and integration between online and offline operations.

- The role includes building, mentoring, and scaling a high-performing digital team, fostering a data-led, experimentation-driven culture with clear accountability and measurable outcomes.

Skills and Experience:

- The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, with 12-15 years of experience in eCommerce or digital business roles and strong P&L ownership. A proven track record of scaling profitable online businesses is essential, along with deep expertise in performance marketing, SEO/SEM, social commerce, and influencer marketing.


- Hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, CRM systems, and automation tools is required. Strong analytical capability, stakeholder management, leadership skills, and a keen interest in consumer or lifestyle brands are highly desirable.
