Role Overview

The role will own the end-to-end D2C business (web, app and marketplace) for a well established D2C fashion brand with full accountability for revenue, profitability, growth, and customer experience. This is a business leadership role, not a pure marketing position, working closely with product, tech, merchandising, and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities

Business & P&L Ownership:

- Own the P&L for D2C channels (web, app and marketplace ).

- Drive revenue growth with a strong focus on contribution margins and profitability.

- Own overall D2C strategy, planning, and performance management.

- Improve conversion rate, AOV, retention, and repeat purchase metrics.

- Partner with product and technology teams on UX, checkout flows, personalization, and platform stability.

Performance Marketing & Growth:

- Lead customer acquisition across Meta, Google, affiliates, influencers, and app installs.

- Own and optimize CAC, ROAS, and LTV across channels.

- Work closely with brand, content, and creative teams to align performance marketing with target audiences.

- Own the full customer journey from acquisition to loyalty.

- Drive CRM initiatives across email, WhatsApp, push notifications, and SMS.

- Build programs to increase repeat purchase frequency and customer lifetime value.

Merchandising & Drops Planning:

- Collaborate with product, design, and supply chain teams on drop calendars and D2C-exclusive collections.

- Ensure optimal inventory planning, visibility, and sell-through on owned platforms.

Data, Analytics & Insights:

- Track and analyze key D2C metrics including GMV, net revenue, CAC, LTV, conversion, AOV, and retention.

- Use data to drive experimentation, funnel optimization, and personalization initiatives.

Customer Experience & Operations:

- Own the end-to-end D2C customer experience, including delivery, returns, refunds, and coordination with customer support teams.

- Drive improvements in NPS, app ratings, and overall customer satisfaction.

- Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration

- Build, lead, and mentor high-performing D2C, growth, CRM, and analytics teams.

- Work closely with brand, tech, supply chain, finance, and leadership teams to align D2C objectives with the overall business strategy.

Candidate Profile:

- MBA from a premier business school preferred.

- Background in top-tier consulting is an added advantage.

- 10+ years of experience in growth, strategy, or business leadership roles.

- Strong exposure to fashion, lifestyle, e-commerce, D2C, or omnichannel retail.

- Proven ability to own numbers, teams, and cross-functional execution.
