Role: Business Head (Regional Director) / City Head.
As a regional leader, you will take full ownership of workspace design and build projectsfrom pitch to delivery.
This includes driving profitability, managing stakeholders, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring every project delivers both client satisfaction and business value.
You will serve as a strategic leader, aligning business development, design, project execution, and client experience around the mission of creating people-centric, high-performance work environments.
This role blends strategic leadership, P&L responsibility, and execution excellence, with a strong emphasis on client-centric outcomes and team empowerment.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Leadership & Strategy:
- Own and drive the overall P&L, ensuring profitability, cost control, and resource optimization across projects.
- Define and execute a strategic roadmap to win and successfully execute more business within the region or city.
- Build a culture of performance, accountability, and innovation within cross-functional teams.
- Identify growth opportunities, both in existing accounts and new partnerships.
Client Engagement & Brand Representation:
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle and beyond.
- Translate client vision into actionable solutions, ensuring continuous value delivery.
- Champion the companys brand and values, converting satisfied clients into long-term partners.
- Oversee post-project engagement, feedback gathering, and success case documentation.
Pitch-to-Win Ownership:
- Collaborate with Business Development to co-lead and refine value-based pitches.
- Validate design strategies and commercial proposals to maximize win probability.
- Ensure timely delivery and quality of pitch-related documents, including presentations, cost sheets, and design narratives.
- Plan for and mitigate risks associated with pitch failures or project gaps.
Project Execution Oversight:
- Ensure alignment between client KPIs and internal delivery mechanisms.
- Conduct regular project reviews with Design, Project Management, and Costing teams.
- Monitor cash flow, execution timelines, and on-site adherence to design intent.
- Implement proactive risk management strategies across financial, operational, and client satisfaction metrics.
Cross-Functional Leadership:
- Guide, mentor, and align multidisciplinary teams across design, costing, BD, PM, and support functions.
- Facilitate collaboration, clear communication, and problem-solving across stakeholders.
- Ensure every team member delivers against client goals and quality standards.
- Attract and retain the best talent.
Team Development:
- Mentor and develop high-performing teams, encouraging collaboration and professional growth.
- Foster a supportive environment that promotes creativity, knowledge sharing, and skill development.
- Recruit and retain top talent to build a team capable of delivering exceptional design solutions.
What We Expect:
- Bachelors in Architecture/Civil Engineering; Postgraduate in Project/Construction Management (NICMAR, RICS, or similar) or MBA preferred.
- 12 to 18 years of experience in workspace design, project management, or client engagement.
- Strong financial acumen and proven P&L management.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Strategic thinker with execution focus and high adaptability.
- Leadership experience in managing large, cross-functional teams.
Success Metrics:
- Financial: Deliver projects meeting or exceeding targeted profit margins.
- Client Success: Achieve high NPS, repeat business, and strong client feedback.
- Project Delivery: Ensure timely and budget-compliant project completions.
