Business Head - Collection & Transportation - Municipal Solid Waste

About the Role:

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President/ Regional Business Head to lead our waste management for Municipal Solid Waste, its Collection and Transportation business in Western India. This pivotal role requires a proven track record in the industry and a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the business, including operations, sales, finance and HR, driving growth and efficiency while ensuring the compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership: Establish, implement, and communicate the strategic direction of the organization, aligning with the overall company vision.

2. Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and compliant waste collection and transportation services.

3. Team Development: Build, develop and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

4. Financial Performance: Monitor financial performance, control costs, and optimize profitability.

5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant environmental regulations and industry standards.

6. Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and exceeding expectations.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

- MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree preferred.

- 15+ years of experience in the waste management industry and other relevant sectors, with a strong focus on collection and transportation.

- Proven track record in leading large-scale operations and managing teams.
