Role Objective:
(80% Sales & Business Development, 20% Plant performance and P&L)
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) Sales & Operations will drive revenue growth, operational excellence, and execution discipline across sales, manufacturing/Ops, supply chain, and customer delivery. The role ensures strong alignment between sales strategy and operational capability to achieve profitable and scalable growth
Job Description/Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business strategy into executable sales and operations plans.
- Develop and execute national sales strategy, business plans, and revenue targets.
- Build, manage, and lead zonal/regional sales teams across India.
- Drive new business through Retail, Dealers & consultant channel network
- Expand channel network Distributors, Dealers, Architects & Consultants, Govt. projects
- Monitor market trends, competition, and pricing strategy.
- Strengthen brand positioning and support marketing initiatives.
- Key account management and customer relationship management.
- Ensure monthly/quarterly sales forecasting and business reporting.
- Ensure profitability, credit control, and receivable management.
- Own P&L for Sales & Operations.
- Drive EBITDA improvement through revenue growth and cost discipline.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance review cadence. Oversee manufacturing/operations, supply chain, planning, and customer fulfilment.
- Ensure alignment of sales forecasts with production and delivery capabilities (S&OP).

- Drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and on-time delivery.
- Lead process excellence initiatives (Lean, TPM, System & Digitization).

Desired Candidate Profile:
- BE / B. Tech, MBA preferred (Sales / Operations / Business Strategy).
- 25-30 years of experience in sales & Business operations leadership, lastly working as Country Head, Business Head or COO
- Proven experience in HVAC & Insulation industry
- Strong dealer-distributor network exposure.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Strong business acumen and result-oriented mind-set.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
