Business Head/CMO - Insurance - Surat - 40 LPA
We are looking for a dynamic revenue leader to build and scale a high-potential Life Insurance business vertical within a well-established financial services platform.
This is a P&L ownership role, ideal for someone who has successfully driven agency channel growth, distribution expansion, and premium revenue scale-up in the life insurance ecosystem. This is not a conventional marketing role - it is a full-fledged business leadership position.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Growth & Revenue Ownership
- Drive overall life insurance premium growth
- Own annual revenue and profitability targets (P&L responsibility)
- Define product mix strategy (Term / ULIP / Annuity, etc.)
2. Agency Channel & Distribution Development
- Build and scale a high-performing advisor / agent network
- Drive recruitment, onboarding, activation, and productivity
- Improve retention and performance metrics across the channel
3. Channel Expansion
- Develop corporate partnerships & strategic alliances
- Leverage existing wealth / financial services client base for cross-selling
- Explore bancassurance and alternate distribution channels
4. Team Leadership
- Build and lead multi-location sales & relationship teams
- Set targets, track performance, and ensure accountability
- Foster a high-performance, ownership-driven culture
5. Customer & Market Strategy
- Focus on HNI / UHNI client acquisition
- Strengthen client engagement and retention frameworks
- Identify new markets, segments, and growth opportunities
6. Marketing Alignment (Strategic)
- Collaborate with marketing for lead generation initiatives
- Ensure strong alignment between brand efforts and revenue outcomes
Experience:
- 15-23 years in Life Insurance / Insurance Distribution
- Strong exposure to Agency Channel / Sales / Business Development
