Role Overview:
To lead and drive the overall business, trainings, academic, operational, and financial performance of the Academy by ensuring sustainable revenue growth, profitability, training excellence, industry partnerships, and expansion of training and consultancy services in India and overseas. The role will be responsible for developing new business and training opportunities, establishing Centers of Excellence, enhancing training quality, implementing standardized processes, and positioning the Academy as a preferred aviation training provider globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive enrolments and business growth through student acquisition and corporate training partnerships.
- Identify and develop new revenue streams through aviation training, consultancy assignments, certification programs, and strategic alliances.
- Expand academy presence by establishing new training centres and markets.
- Monitor business performance and implement corrective actions to achieve budgeted targets.
- Ensure financial sustainability and profitability of all academy operations.
- Build and maintain a strong student pipeline through institutional partnerships, career outreach programs, and marketing initiatives.
- Develop long-term relationships with airlines, airports, ground handling agencies, MROs, aviation organizations, and corporate clients.
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for multiple academy centres across locations.
- Ensure consistency in training delivery, compliance standards, quality systems, and operational processes.
- Develop and implement SOPs across all training verticals and centres.
Education:
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, Operations Management, or related field.
- Aviation-related certifications will be an added advantage.
Relevance:
- Minimum 20+ years of experience in aviation training, airport operations, airline operations, aviation consulting, or related sectors.
- Minimum 8 - 10 years in a senior leadership role with P&L responsibility.
- Proven track record in business development, revenue generation, and managing multi-location operations.
- Experience in dealing with aviation regulators and international stakeholders.
