Position Purpose & Background:

- Automotive Unit has been a fast growing vertical of the company, under the Transportation & Mobility vertical.

- This Business Head role has been created to lead, strengthen, and scale the business with GCCs of North American/ European Automotive OEM clients in India, with a strong focus on delivery governance, P/L delivery, client engagement, account growth, and operational excellence.

- Manage overall client relationship at CxO level, bringing thought leadership as a trusted Advisor.

- Meet all account KPIs including growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

P&L Ownership:

- Full accountability for revenue, margins, and profitability across GCC engagements of North American and European Automotive OEM's.

- Develop and execute strategies to achieve financial targets.

Client Engagement:

- Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients.

- Ensure delivery excellence and customer satisfaction.

Delivery Workshops:

- Service Line Expansion: Positioning organization's capabilities to expand services across high end capabilities Digital and Embedded

Operational Leadership & Delivery:

- Capability Building: Proactively Work with Technical heads to build a talent pool to compliment client demands across Digital, Mechanical, Embedded services

- Governance: Implement robust governance frameworks to ensure global delivery standards, compliance, and data security are met.

Innovation Roadmap:

- Collaborate with R&D teams to create "Prove locally, Move globally" prototypes.

Team Management:

- Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing sales and account management teams.

- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with delivery, operations, finance, and marketing teams to align business objectives.

- Ensure seamless execution of projects and services to meet client expectations.

- Scope of Role: The role focuses only on GCC engagements of North American and European Automotive OEM's

- Exclusion from the Scope: This role excludes India-based GCCs of OEMs such as Tata, Mahindra, Eicher, Bajaj

Qualifications & Experience:

- 15-20+ years of professional experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership/P&L role within the Automotive or IT Services (Engineering R&D) sector.

- Education: Bachelor's in Engineering (Electronics/Automobile) + MBA from IIM's or other top-tier business schools

- Proven track record of managing P&L responsibilities and achieving revenue/margin targets.

- GCC Expertise: Proven track record of scaling a GIC/GCC or a large Captive unit in India. Strong network and business relationships in the MNCs Automotive GCCs within India

- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Global Automotive Value Chain, including emerging trends like SDV, Electrification (EV), Connectivity, and Autonomous driving.
