Job Summary:

We are looking for an accomplished Business Head to lead and drive the growth strategy for one of India's leading Apparel Manufacturing Groups. The role requires a senior business leader with extensive experience in the apparel/textile industry and a strong track record of managing large-scale business operations, driving revenue growth, building customer relationships, and delivering profitability.

The ideal candidate will bring strong business acumen, strategic leadership, commercial expertise, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams while driving the organization's long-term growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute the overall business strategy, growth roadmap, and commercial objectives for the organization.

- Own business P&L, revenue, profitability, and overall financial performance.

- Identify new business opportunities, markets, customers, and growth avenues within the apparel and fashion industry.

- Drive business development, customer acquisition, retention, and strategic account management.

- Build and strengthen relationships with key customers, brands, retailers, and strategic partners.

- Develop and execute strategies for domestic and international market expansion.

- Monitor industry trends, consumer preferences, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.

- Work closely with leadership teams across sales, marketing, manufacturing, sourcing, merchandising, supply chain, finance, and operations.

- Ensure alignment between business strategy, manufacturing capabilities, customer requirements, and market demand.

- Drive operational excellence, cost optimisation, productivity, and profitability across business functions.

- Lead, mentor, and develop senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

- Establish business KPIs, review performance, and drive accountability across teams.

- Present business performance, forecasts, strategic initiatives, and growth plans to the senior management / leadership team.

- Manage strategic negotiations with customers, vendors, partners, and other key stakeholders.

- Ensure strong governance, compliance, risk management, and sustainable business practices.

- Drive transformation and innovation initiatives to strengthen the organization's competitive position.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 27-32 years of overall professional experience, preferably with significant leadership experience in Textile, Apparel, Fashion, Garment Manufacturing, or related industries.

- Proven experience in a Business Head / BU Head / P&L Head / Business Director / Senior Leadership role.

- Strong track record of managing large-scale businesses and P&L ownership.

- Extensive experience in business development, revenue growth, and commercial strategy.
