Key Responsibilities: - In charge of the Overall Regional Sales activity for India and responsible for P/L growth. - Expanding the company's revenues and profits with new business. - Responsible for the performance and development of the Sales Executives and to lead the Sales team to attain the Company objectives. - To set Parameters with Performance levels for Sales team members and to monitor them to attain the set standards. - Responsible for overall Sales administration. - Keep proper files and records to ensure the office is in compliance with Customs and Government regulations - Create and nurture team spirit within the Sales team and with other team members of the Company. - Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales targets and profitability. - Maintains healthy receivables & monitor level of bad debts for sales team - Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects - Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new sectors & customers. - Assists in the development and implementation of Sales plans as needed. - Provides weekly & monthly Sales Report to Management regarding sales performance. - Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account Executives - Creates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP / RFQs responses - Assists Sales Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations. - Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team - Sets examples for Sales Executives in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits - Maintains contact with all clients in the market to ensure high levels of client satisfaction - Drive the Sales team to create a Vibrant Brand Image of the Company and manifest the Brand Values with its Customers and other stakeholders in the day to day interaction with them. - Assist sales team in creating marketing and pricing strategy and ensure desired results are achieved Ensure healthy AR/AP flow. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. - Minimum of 12 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. - Strong understanding of the air logistics. - Proven track record in managing and leading logistics operations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency with logistics software and tools.
