Business Head - AgriTech

Role Purpose:

The Business Head - Agri Tech will be responsible for leading the overall business, driving growth, profitability, and technology-led innovation. The role requires a strong combination of technology understanding and commercial/P&L leadership, with the ability to scale an Agri-Tech business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall Agri-Tech business with end-to-end P&L responsibility.

- Develop and execute the business strategy to drive revenue, profitability, and scale.

- Leverage technology to improve farmer engagement, market access, and business efficiency.

- Identify opportunities to enhance digital platforms, products, and technology solutions.

- Build strong relationships with farmers, suppliers, customers, and other ecosystem stakeholders.

- Drive business development, market expansion, and new revenue opportunities.

- Work closely with technology/product teams to improve platform capabilities and user experience.

- Use data and technology to improve pricing, procurement, sales, and operational decision-making.

- Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams.

- Report business performance, strategy, and growth plans to the senior leadership/Board.

Candidate Profile:

- 12-25 years of experience with significant experience in business leadership.

- Strong understanding of Agri-Tech, digital platforms, technology-enabled businesses, or agriculture value chains.

- Proven experience managing P&L and business growth.

- Strong technology orientation with the ability to work closely with product and technology teams.

- Experience in farmer-facing platforms, agricultural marketplaces, procurement, B2B/B2C platforms, or digital agriculture will be preferred.

- Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and execution capability.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
