About the Role:
A leading power solutions company is looking to hire senior-level sales professionals to lead business operations for high-capacity diesel generators (1000 KVA and above) across key South Indian markets.
This is a strategic, high-impact sales leadership role focused on large B2B clients, industrial tenders, and regional sales expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development and sales initiatives in the assigned territory.
- Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, techno-commercial proposals, deal closure, and post-sales engagement.
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, service, delivery) to ensure client satisfaction.
- Track market trends, customer demands, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Participate in tendering, contract negotiations, and regional business planning.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience: 5 to 15 years in industrial B2B sales, preferably in high horsepower diesel gensets (1000 KVA and above) or related capital equipment.
- Strong experience managing large enterprise accounts, industrial/government sales, and long-cycle deal closures.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong technical understanding of power systems and generator technologies.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering preferred.
- MBA is an advantage, but not mandatory.
