Business Finance Partner - CA - B2B Vertical

About the Role :

We are hiring for a fast-growing consumer-tech startup looking for a Business Finance Partner - BU Lead to co-own the P&L of a Business Unit alongside the BU Head and drive financial performance, business growth, and strategic decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone with strong business finance experience who enjoys working closely with business teams in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Co-own and manage BU P&L with the BU Head

- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

- Monitor business performance and provide actionable insights

- Partner with business teams on strategic decisions and growth initiatives

- Identify cost optimization and efficiency opportunities

- Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions

- Build reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership

- Strengthen financial controls and improve reporting processes

- Collaborate across finance, planning, and business teams

Requirements :

- 6-8 years of Business Finance / Finance Partnering experience with P&L exposure

- Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualified preferred (2017-2020 batch preferred)

- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

- Advanced Excel skills with experience in MySQL and BI tools (Power BI / Tableau / Looker Studio)

- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills

- Experience working closely with business teams is essential

Additional Information :

- Location: Bangalore (WFO - 5 days/week)

- Travel: 20-30% across India
