Business Finance Manager - D2C/FMCG/Retail - CA

About the Role:

Our client, a fast-growing D2C consumer brand, is looking for a Business Finance Manager to drive financial performance, cost governance, and business decision-making across key functions. This role goes beyond traditional accounting and reporting, with a strong focus on profitability, planning, commercial finance, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with business teams to drive financial performance and better decision-making

- Own cost governance across procurement, manufacturing, logistics, marketing, and operations

- Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis

- Analyse profitability, cost drivers, and identify cost optimisation opportunities

- Support vendor evaluations, commercial negotiations, and strategic sourcing decisions

- Build and improve finance processes, SOPs, controls, and governance frameworks

- Track key business metrics and provide actionable insights to leadership

- Work cross-functionally to improve operational efficiency and enable profitable growth

Ideal Candidate:

- 3-5 years of experience in Business Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Cost Management, or Strategic Finance with a CA Qualification.

- Experience in D2C, manufacturing, FMCG, retail, or high-growth organisations preferred

- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and cost management

- Experience with manufacturing, procurement, logistics, or supply chain finance
