Job Description: Business Finance Lead
Location: Either out of Noida / Bangalore / Mumbai

About the role: The Business Finance Lead will drive FP&A, investor reporting, and strategic finance partnering in a fast-paced Series B/C startup. A CA/CFA, the ideal candidate is agile, data-driven, and skilled at building scalable finance systems with strong business insight.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A): Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive strategic business decisions.
- Finance Operations: Oversee accounting, reconciliations, fund flow management, and financial hygiene across business units.
- Business Partnering: Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Operations to ensure financial alignment and resource efficiency.
- Investor & Board Reporting: Prepare MIS, dashboards, and financial insights for leadership and investors, typical of a Series B/C-stage company.
- Process & Systems: Build scalable, automation-friendly finance processes suited for a high-growth startup environment.
- Company Secretarial: Coordinate statutory filings, board documentation, and regulatory compliance in collaboration with external legal advisors or CS professionals.
- Legal & Contract Validation: Review and validate commercial contracts and partnerships to ensure financial prudence and measurable ROI.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure timely audits, tax filings, and adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Data-Driven Decision Support: Analyse large data sets to derive focused, actionable insights and solutions under tight timelines.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in Telecom, AI, or Human/Hybrid Calling or Contact Centre industries is highly preferred.
- Exposure to Series B/C-stage startups operating in fast-paced, execution-driven environments.
- Proven ability to thrive in a startup hustle mode agile, hands-on, and solution-oriented.
- Strong grasp of unit economics, business drivers, and ROI-linked decision-making.
- Ability to build scalable finance systems and processes from the ground up.
- Experience partnering with founders and leadership on fundraising, investor relations, and strategic growth planning.
- Comfort with ambiguity and rapid pivots, turning open-ended problems into structured financial insights.
- Skilled at balancing control with speed ensuring compliance without slowing down execution.
- Curious, hands-on, and relentless about finding the data-backed answers.
- Excellent stakeholder management across cross-functional teams.
