Business Finance Controller - Aftermarket - Metals & Mining - CA

Job highlights :

- 7-10 years experience in automotive/commercial vehicle finance, expertise in budgeting, financial planning, dealer credit management

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, profitability analysis, dealer credit and receivables management, and audit coordination

Key Responsibilities :

Financial Planning & Business Partnering :

- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the spares business.

- Provide financial insights and variance analysis to support business decisions.

- Partner with sales and business teams on pricing, dealer incentives, promotions, and growth initiatives.

Month-End Closing & Financial Reporting:

- Manage month-end and year-end financial closing for the spares business.

- Ensure accurate revenue recognition, cost accounting, inventory valuation, and reconciliations.

- Prepare monthly MIS, dashboards, and financial performance reports for management.

Profitability & Performance Management:

- Monitor product, channel, and geography-wise profitability and margins.

- Conduct portfolio and contribution margin analysis to identify improvement opportunities.

Dealer Credit & Receivables Management:

- Manage dealer credit limits, exposure monitoring, and periodic credit reviews.

- Assess dealer financial health and recommend credit limit revisions and risk mitigation actions.

- Partner with sales and collections teams to control receivables and overdue balances.

Dealer Financing / Channel Finance:

- Support dealer financing programs with banks/NBFC partners.

- Monitor dealer financing utilization and credit lines.

- Work with financial institutions to strengthen channel financing frameworks and reporting.

Inventory & Working Capital Management:

- Monitor inventory levels, aging, and obsolescence provisions.

- Drive initiatives to improve inventory turns and working capital efficiency.

Controls, Statutory Audit & Internal Audit:

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal financial controls, and company policies.

- Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits and internal audit reviews.

- Ensure timely closure of audit observations and compliance requirements
