Job Description:


We are looking for a dynamic and self-driven professional to join our Sales team as an Influencer Sales officer focused on tertiary sales growth and influencer engagement in the wires & cables category. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving product movement through effective influencer relationships and site-level engagement.


Key Responsibilities:


- Drive tertiary sales by creating strong influencer relationships, primarily with electricians, contractors, and institutional buyers (IBs), to ensure consistent coil movement and product offtake.


- Promote new product developments (NPD) and focused SKUs by conducting on-site product demonstrations and benefit-based selling to influencers and end users.


- Generate and follow up on influencer-based (IB) leads; work closely with Market Development Managers (MDMs) for site-level product conversions and coordinate with the sales team for order closures and service-related follow-ups.


- Create and sustain demand at Key Distributors (KDs) by influencing pull-through at site levels, driving product movement, and expanding the influencer base within the assigned territory.


- Deep understanding of the electrical product ecosystem, especially wires and cables, and hands-on experience working with influencer channels such as electricians and contractors.


- Leverage digital tools and mobile-based reporting platforms (e.g., Workozy, LMP) for real-time tracking, performance updates, and lead management.


- Preference will be given to candidates with strong pre-existing networks and relationships with local influencers (electricians, contractors, IBs) in the assigned geography.


- Ability to operate independently in the field, manage time efficiently, and coordinate cross functionally with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and product support.


Candidate Profile:


- MBA/Post Graduates in any discipline; a technical diploma/degree in Electrical/Engineering will be an added advantage.


- 3-6 years of experience in influencer/channel sales in the electrical, building materials, or allied sectors.


- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making at the grassroots level.


- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to thrive in a dynamic market environment.
