Job Summary: We are looking for a Business Development Manager with strong experience in selling IT services including website development, app development, software solutions, SEO, and digital marketing services. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in client acquisition, proposal development, corporate sales, cold calling, outreach, and managing the entire sales cycle from lead generation to lead closure. This role also requires team leadership capabilities, including mentoring junior BDEs, tracking their performance, and driving collective revenue goals.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead Generation & Prospecting:


- Generate leads using LinkedIn, Apollo.io, Lusha, Sales Navigator, SalesQL, email outreach, databases, cold calling.


- Identify prospects for website development, app development, software solutions, digital marketing services.


- Maintain a strong B2B pipeline across Indian and global markets (US/UK/Gulf).


- Develop and implement a structured lead-generation strategy for the team to follow.


- Monitor team performance on lead research, outreach quality, and lead qualification.


IT Services Sales:


- Conduct discovery calls, requirement discussions, and sales presentations.


- Pitch services and convert prospects into long-term clients.


- Handle IT services sales:


- Website Development


- Mobile Apps


- Software Solutions


- Digital Marketing (SEO, SMM, Ads)


- Understand client requirements and provide suitable solutions.


- Guide junior BDEs on service pitching, value selling, objection handling, and client communication.


Proposal Creation:


- Prepare professional proposals, quotations, and commercial offers.


- Coordinate with technical teams for pricing & solution details.


- Present proposals to clients and handle objections.


- Review and approve proposals made by junior team members before sharing with clients.


Client Acquisition & Closing:


- Convert leads into paying clients.


- Negotiate commercials and final terms.


- Maintain healthy conversion ratios.


- Manage self-generated + marketing-generated leads.


- Own the complete sales funnel from lead generation qualification follow-up closure.


- Improve team capability to close deals faster with higher ticket sizes.


Team Leadership:


- Lead, mentor, and train a team of Business Development Executives.


- Set daily/weekly outreach and conversion targets for the team.


- Conduct weekly sales review meetings and performance check-ins.


- Assist team members in negotiations, closure calls, and difficult prospects.


- Build a positive, high-performance sales culture with accountability and ownership.


- Ensure the team maintains CRM hygiene and follows structured sales processes.


Target Achievement & Revenue Growth:


- Meet monthly/quarterly revenue targets.


- Handle both self-generated and marketing-generated leads.


- Track KPIs: outreach, conversions, pipeline value, proposal win rate.


- Maintain funnel, forecast, and weekly sales reporting.


- Help the team achieve collective and individual sales targets.


Client Relationship Management:


- Build long-term relationships ensuring repeat business.


- Coordinate with project delivery teams to ensure quality and timely execution.


- Manage escalations and ensure high client satisfaction.


- Maintain CRM entries in Zoho/HubSpot/Salesforce.


Market Research & Strategy:


- Study industry trends, competitor offerings, and new service opportunities.


- Provide strategic inputs to improve conversions, pricing, and positioning.


- Contribute ideas to improve team performance and sales process automation.

Qualifications:


- Bachelors/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.


- 4 - 7 years of proven B2B sales experience in an IT services or digital agency environment.


- Experience selling website/app development, UI/UX design, digital marketing, SEO, and software solutions.


- Hands-on experience with Apollo.io, Hub Spot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms.


- Strong working knowledge of CRMs (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce).


- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets consistently.


- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.


- Ability to work independently and lead a small team.


- Strong understanding of technology and digital services.
