
Role Overview:
we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager - Europe, to expand the company's fabricated products business in Europe. The role will focus on building a strong customer base, developing distributor and OEM partnerships, and promoting our shade fabrications, customized sails, outdoor structures, and value-added textile solutions across European markets.
The ideal candidate must have strong B2B sales experience in technical textiles, outdoor structures, industrial fabrications, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales:
- Identify, target, and acquire new customers-including distributors, fabricators, outdoor living brands, tensile structure companies, and project contractors.
- Generate leads for fabricated shade sails, custom outdoor canopies and other Team offerings.
- Manage complete sales cycle: enquiry - costing - sampling - negotiation - order finalization.
- Set up and grow European distribution channels for fabricated products.
Market Expansion & Strategy:
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitors, and opportunities in European markets.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new fabricated products.
- Provide regular insights on customer demand, product gaps, and innovation areas.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
- Visit customers for technical discussions, product presentations, and project-specific support.
- Coordinate sampling, quality approvals, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Marketing & Promotion:
- Develop digital and offline marketing campaigns aligned to European market requirements.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events (e.g., R+T Stuttgart, Techtextil Frankfurt).
- Prepare professional presentations, catalogues, and case studies.
Coordination with India Team:
- Work closely with fabrication, production, QC, design, and logistics teams for timely execution of orders.
- Share customer requirements, technical specs, and quality guidelines with the India office.
- Track order progress, dispatches, and ensure timely delivery.
Target & Performance Management
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Maintain CRM data, sales pipeline reports, visit reports, and forecasting.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business / Marketing / Textiles / Engineering.
- MBA or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- 5-7 years of international B2B sales experience.
- Background in technical textiles, tensile structures, shade solutions, outdoor products, industrial stitching, or related sectors is strongly preferred.
- Must have international Experience in Europe
Skills:
- Strong understanding of European wholesale and project markets.
- Technical aptitude to understand fabric specifications, webbing, hardware, fabrication methods.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and drive results.
Relocation to Jaipur and willingness to travel frequently outside India
