
Job Title - Business Development Manager Technical Sales:
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Identifying market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting the solar energy sector.
- Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identifying and prioritizing potential solar, solar products (B to B, B to C) customers through various channels like online research, networking events, and referrals.
- Building Relationships:
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with new and existing clients, partners, and key industry stakeholders.
- Proposal Development:
- Leading the preparation of proposals, tenders, and presentations to highlight the benefits of solar solutions.
- Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Managing negotiations, contracts, and agreements, ensuring they meet both client and company requirements.
- Sales Target Achievement:
- Working towards achieving sales targets, KPIs, and revenue goals.
- Industry Engagement:
- Representing the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to expand brand presence. Create awareness and develop the brand.
Job Description:
- Plan and execute all digital marketing, including marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals.
- Advertising in different Social Media, Exhibitions, Referrals act.
- Responsible to implement all sales activities related to new product and maximize the sales.
- Lead generation from the above activities and converting them into sales.
- Monitor and report on competitor activity.
- Work closely with in-house teams to design / improvise marketing materials such as brochures and adverts.
- Track marketing performance and return on investment and prepare weekly or monthly reports for management.
- Oversee the preparation and approval of documents such as purchase agreements and contracts.
- Coordinate the closing of deals to ensure vital documents are signed and payment received.
- Act as Customer Relation bridge to resolve their Queries, doubts, grievances in coordination with Factory Manager & Technical team.
- Generate Weekly/Monthly performance reports.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a BDM preferably from similar field
- Excellent knowledge of Advertising, Digital Marketing
- The ability to build relationships with customers
- Negotiation Skills: Should be well versed in conducting negotiations to reach a profitable bargain.
- Strong communication & Convincing skills needed
- Diplomacy and patience
- Be good with numbers
- The ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- A strategic and analytical mind
- Confidence and an outgoing personality
- Good in Customer Relations and Presentation Skills
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Masters / Bachelor's degree.
- 4 to 10 years of experience as BDM, or similar relevant position required.
- Ability to prioritize and plan effectively
- Self-Driven
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with an ability to become familiar with firm-specific programs and software
- Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
