Business Development Manager Software Sales (Govt Clients)
About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in software sales. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, driving end-to-end sales cycles, building long-term client relationships, and consistently achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in software products and solutions.
- Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation, client meetings, proposal creation, negotiation, to closure.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, channel partners, and stakeholders.
- Understand customer pain points and propose relevant software solutions that deliver business value.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
- Prepare and deliver impactful sales presentations and demos.
- Collaborate with technical, presales, and delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Track market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager in software sales.
- Strong knowledge of software products, SaaS, or IT solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements.
- Strong business acumen and result-oriented mindset.
