About the Role:
- We are a fast-growing professional recruitment & executive search firm catering to mid-to large enterprises across India. We partner closely with leadership teams to deliver high-quality talent solutions across multiple industries.
- We are looking for a Business Development professional with strong experience in client acquisition for recruitment services. The role focuses on building new client relationships, expanding accounts, and driving consistent revenue through retained and contingent hiring mandates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end business development for recruitment and executive search services across the Indian market
- Identify, approach, and onboard new corporate clients (mid-market to enterprise)
- Build strong relationships with HR Heads, Talent Leaders, Founders, CXOs, and Business Heads
- Pitch recruitment solutions including Executive Search, Leadership Hiring, and Niche Mandates
- Convert leads into exclusive / retained / high-value contingent mandates
- Work closely with delivery/recruitment teams to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business
- Manage key accounts and drive account expansion and long-term partnerships
- Track pipeline, forecasts, and closures with structured reporting
- Stay updated on industry hiring trends, talent demand, and market intelligence
Desired Profile:
- 4-8 years of experience in Business Development / Sales within:
- Recruitment agencies
- Executive search firms
- Staffing / HR consulting companies
- Proven ability to acquire new clients in the Indian recruitment market
- Strong understanding of recruitment lifecycle, fee structures, and hiring models
- Experience selling to Indian corporates, MNCs, GCCs, or fast-growing startups
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a high-ownership role
Good to Have:
- Existing HR / CXO network across one or more industries
- Experience handling retained or leadership hiring mandates
- Exposure to sectors such as IT, GCCs, Manufacturing, Pharma, FMCG, BFSI, or Services
