We are seeking a Business Development Manager with at least 6+ years of proven experience in IT staffing and recruitment business development. The ideal candidate must have an existing client base, strong relationships with decision-makers, and a deep understanding of both contractual and permanent hiring models. This is a high-impact role focused on revenue generation, client acquisition, and strategic business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Business Growth:
- Identify, pursue, and acquire new clients across IT services, product companies, startups, and enterprise organizations.
- Leverage existing client relationships to onboard accounts quickly and accelerate business growth.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue across contract staffing, permanent hiring, and project-based recruitment solutions.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, HR Heads, TA Leaders, and Procurement teams.
- Conduct regular review meetings with clients to understand hiring plans, challenges, and upcoming opportunities.
- Act as the primary point of contact to ensure high satisfaction, smooth delivery, and long-term partnerships.
Sales Strategy & Market Research:
- Understand client business, technology landscapes, and talent needs to offer effective recruitment solutions.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to stay competitive.
- Prepare detailed sales plans, pipelines, revenue forecasts, and business proposals.
Proposal Management & Presentations:
- Create compelling proposals, pitch decks, and capability presentations for clients.
- Deliver impactful presentations to senior stakeholders showcasing Metamorf's service offerings, strengths, and value proposition.
- Lead client negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures end-to-end.
Collaboration & Internal Coordination:
- Work closely with the recruitment delivery team to ensure alignment with client expectations.
- Share insights on hiring trends, client feedback, and industry updates to optimize delivery performance.
- Ensure timely fulfilment of mandates and maintain high client satisfaction metrics.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience & Expertise:
- Minimum 6+ years of experience in IT Business Development within a recruitment or staffing company (mandatory).
- Strong exposure to both permanent and contract staffing sales.
- Proven track record of winning clients, generating revenue, and meeting quarterly targets.
Client Base:
- Must have an existing network of clients or warm connects in IT services, product engineering, or startup ecosystems.
- Ability to onboard accounts quickly through strong rapport and industry credibility.
- Communication & Presentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to articulate staffing solutions to CXO-level stakeholders confidently.
