About the Role

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, managing key client accounts, and supporting the internal recruitment team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IT staffing, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities:

- New Client Acquisition: Identify, target, and onboard new clients within the IT industry to expand the companys business portfolio.

- Account Mining: Build strong relationships with existing clients, understand their hiring needs, and generate additional business opportunities through effective account management.

- Team Management: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the recruitment team to ensure targets and service-level agreements are met.

- Team Support: Guide, mentor, and support recruiters with client requirements, strategy, and closing positions where required.

- Business Strategy: Contribute to sales and growth strategies by analyzing market trends, competition, and client feedback.

- Client Relationship Management: Maintain consistent communication with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.

- Reporting: Prepare and present regular business development status reports to leadership.

Qualifications:

Total Experience: 10+ years

Relevant Experience: Minimum 5+ years in business development, IT staffing, or IT recruitment

Proven experience working in the India staffing industry, preferably in IT recruitment

Strong understanding of recruitment processes, staffing models, and client engagement strategies

Required Skills:

- Excellent understanding of the recruitment business, specifically within the IT industry

- Strong knowledge of IT staffing, resource management, and talent acquisition workflows

- Ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships

- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

- Strategic thinker with a proactive and result-oriented approach

Preferred Skills:

- Prior experience in business development within the IT staffing sector

- Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously

- Experience working with recruitment delivery teams and supporting them operationally
