Business Development Manager - IT
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our IT division.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the technology sector.
This role requires a strategic thinker with deep knowledge of IT products and services and excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the IT sector including software, hardware, and IT services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand client requirements and propose tailored IT solutions to meet their needs.
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate solution delivery and client satisfaction.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote the companys IT offerings.
- Manage the sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and report on business development performance.
- Work closely with product development, marketing, and delivery teams to align business goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in business development or sales in the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of IT products, services, and industry trends.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Willingness to travel as needed
