About the Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to spearhead growth for our premium interior design and fit-out solutions.
This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the interior design, architecture, and real estate ecosystem, capable of driving business expansion through relationships, partnerships, and strategic sales initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a high-energy, design-driven business leader who thrives on networking, consultative selling, and closing high-value projects in the premium and luxury segments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Growth: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across corporate, residential, hospitality, and commercial design projects.
- Client Acquisition: Build and nurture strong client relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, corporates, and HNIs.
- Strategic Partnerships: Establish long-term partnerships with real estate firms, builders, and allied industries to expand the business pipeline.
- Market Expansion: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to increase brand presence and project footprint across Mumbai and key metros.
- Revenue Ownership: Lead the sales cycle end-to-endfrom client prospecting and proposal development to contract negotiation and closure.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, project management, and marketing teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Market Intelligence: Track market trends, competitor activity, and client preferences to identify new business opportunities and positioning strategies.
- Brand Advocacy: Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums to enhance visibility and build trust among stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8-15 years of experience in business development, client acquisition, or sales within the interior design, architecture, construction, or real estate sectors.
- Proven track record of closing high-value B2B and B2C interior projects and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong network of industry contacts including architects, builders, contractors, and design consultants.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with a consultative approach to selling.
- Ability to translate design and technical concepts into business propositions for clients.
- Exposure to luxury or premium design markets preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field; MBA preferred.
Preferred Attributes:
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently and drive strategic initiatives.
- Deep understanding of interior design trends, materials, and execution workflows.
- Hands-on experience working with design and project management teams.
