Position Overview: The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, building client relationships, and converting qualified interior project leads into revenue. This role requires strong communication skills, follow-through, and the ability to coordinate with design and project teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Management & Conversion:
- Contact leads within the required response time (3060 minutes).
- Schedule site visits and client meetings.
- Understand client requirements and pass accurate briefs to the design team.
- Maintain and update CRM with lead status, follow-ups, and next actions.
Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Handle negotiations and close deals within defined timelines.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Upsell and cross-sell modular furniture, decor, and add-on services.
Client Relationship Management:
- Coordinate between clients, designers, and project managers during the pre-sales stage.
- Ensure smooth handover of confirmed projects to the execution team.
- Collect feedback and support the marketing team with testimonials.
Coordination With Internal Teams:
o Design Team layouts, mood boards, BOQs.
o Project Team timelines & execution readiness.
o Marketing Team lead quality feedback.
- Participate in weekly sales, design, and project review meetings.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Track lead-to-conversion ratios and sales pipeline.
- Share insights on market trends, competitor pricing, and client behaviour.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to understand basic design concepts and BOQs.
- Confidence in handling high-value clients and premium projects.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and WhatsApp follow-ups.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and excellent in follow-through.
Performance KPIs:
- Lead-to-conversion percentage.
- Number of site visits completed.
- Proposal-to-deal closure rate.
- Time taken for lead conversion.
- Client satisfaction and feedback.
