Business Development Associate / Business Development Manager

Location: Hyderabad

About the Role:

- We are hiring experienced Business Development professionals for a leading education organization operating at scale in the Hyderabad region. This is a field-focused role requiring strong on-ground presence, relationship building, and student acquisition capabilities within the education ecosystem.

- The role involves driving enrolments, building institutional partnerships, and contributing to regional growth through ethical and consultative sales practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive student enrolments and revenue growth through field sales activities

- Visit schools, colleges, coaching centres, and educational institutions to build strong partnerships

- Conduct face-to-face counselling, presentations, and meetings with students, parents, and decision-makers

- Generate leads through on-ground marketing activities, referrals, and local networks

- Work closely with internal counselling and marketing teams to improve conversion rates

- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, closures, and field activities

- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets assigned by management

- Represent the organization professionally in the local education ecosystem

- Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and feedback from the field

Required Skills & Experience:

- 3-5 years of experience in Business Development / Sales

- Mandatory experience in the education or edtech sector

- Strong field sales background (inside sales profiles will not be considered)

- Proven track record of achieving enrolment or revenue targets

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

- Ability to work independently and manage field activities effectively

- Strong understanding of the student admission lifecycle

- Comfortable with reporting, CRM tools, and structured follow-ups

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- Experience working with coaching institutes, schools, colleges, or edtech companies

- Candidates who have handled the Hyderabad market previously will be preferred

- Result-oriented professionals with a consultative sales approach

- High ownership, discipline, and ethical sales mindset
