Key Responsibilities:
- Manage branch profitability by driving business growth, revenues, and brand differentiation.
- Achieve sales targets for ISIN admission (listed and unlisted companies), E-Voting, and other related services.
- Generate new business opportunities for IPO, FPO, rights issues, and other financial products.
- Maximize branch profits through effective cost management and by achieving targeted fee income.
- Acquire new clients by promoting financial products and services to potential customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients by regularly visiting them to understand their needs and offer relevant solutions.
- Upsell and cross-sell products to existing clients to enhance business value and maintain client satisfaction.
- Drive the branchs sales targets and ensure the team works towards achieving company objectives.
- Monitor individual and team performance to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions where necessary.
- Provide periodic performance reports to the Head Office, detailing sales volumes, fee income, new clients, and any new partnerships or cross-sell tie-ups.
- Oversee the day-to-day branch operations, ensuring timely opening and closing, and smooth service delivery to customers.
- Ensure all services are delivered in line with company standards and client expectations.
- Manage billing and collections to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Prepare and send periodic reports to the Head Office, including sales progress, fee income, new business opportunities, and improvements in business plans.
- Assist in implementing operational procedures and prepare MIS reports on a periodic basis.
- Research industry trends, market conditions, SEBI updates, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and keep the branch competitive.
- Actively seek innovative solutions and ideas to enhance the branchs business development strategies.
- Ensure the security and safety of the branchs physical assets.
- Prepare sales contracts in adherence to ISO guidelines and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Requirements:
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in business development, preferably in financial services or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of financial products and services, including ISIN admission, E-Voting, IPO/FPO, and other capital market services.
- Proven track record in sales and client acquisition, with a strong ability to upsell and cross-sell financial products.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to drive teams to achieve sales and business goals.
- Strong relationship management and client servicing skills.
- Ability to manage branch operations efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in preparing MIS reports, sales contracts, and performance tracking.
- Master's or Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- An MBA is a plus
