Brief introduction about the role:
We're looking for a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive growth for the ENS-C/ESC product cluster across the Zone. You will own the commercial agenda-building pipeline, strengthening partner ecosystems (SIs, consultants, distributors), and turning market insights into scalable go-to-market plays. The role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution to deliver against ambitious financial targets while elevating our presence in security entrance solutions.
YOUR TASKS:
- Drive Business Performance: Own revenue, margin, and pipeline targets for ENS-C/ESC through rigorous territory planning, forecasting, and execution of a Zone-wide growth strategy.
- Market & Ecosystem Development: Build strong relationships with Security/MEP Consultants and System Integrators to ensure early specification and expand opportunity creation across Pan-India.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Product Management, and Product Development to influence product innovation, execute national initiatives, and ensure field readiness.
- Channel & Distributor Enablement: Strengthen the performance of Zonal ESC distributors through enablement, scorecards, joint business plans, and improving technical competencies across Sales, Service, and Specification teams.
- Competitive & Strategic Excellence: Lead competitive benchmarking, craft displacement strategies, and support the sales team on strategic/windfall projects with solutioning, pricing insights, and bid strategies.
Key functional interrelations:
- Internal: Zonal sales team, Product team, other zonal ENS-C managers
- External: System Integrators (SIs), Consultants, PMCs, Architects, End-clients, Developers, etc.
EXPERIENCE THAT MATTERS: YOUR SKILLS:
Experience:
- 8-10 years of progressive B2B sales/business development experience.
- Must have: Hands-on exposure to the security industry with active engagement across SIs and consultant networks.
- Good to have: Experience in the turnstile/flap barrier segment and managing distributor/channel ecosystems.
- Proven success driving specification-led sales and closing complex, multi-stakeholder projects (Pan-India preferred).
- Strong track record of building pipelines, forecasting accurately, and consistently achieving targets.
Education:
- Good to have: BE / BE + MBA (or equivalent in engineering plus business/management).
Job Location: Bangalore
Salary: Best in the industry- Should range around Rs. 25 Lpa , although not a limiting factor
