Business Central Finance Functional Consultant

Role Overview:

As a Business Central Finance Functional Consultant, you will serve as the primary bridge between complex financial requirements and technical ERP implementation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and end-users to translate business needs into efficient system configurations. Your day-to-day will involve analyzing financial workflows, troubleshooting system bottlenecks, and ensuring the seamless integration of accounting and taxation modules within Business Central. By optimizing these financial operations, you will directly impact the accuracy of financial reporting and the overall efficiency of our clients' fiscal management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central modules to align with specific client financial processes and reporting requirements.

- Lead the end-to-end implementation lifecycle, including requirement gathering, gap analysis, solution design, and user acceptance testing.

- Design and implement robust taxation frameworks within the ERP to ensure compliance with local and international regulatory standards.

- Provide expert-level functional support to end-users, resolving complex issues related to general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.

- Collaborate with technical developers to document functional specifications and ensure that custom developments meet business objectives.

- Conduct comprehensive training sessions for stakeholders to ensure high adoption rates and effective utilization of the ERP system.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in managing end-to-end financial operations within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with a deep understanding of core accounting principles.

- Proven ability to map complex business requirements to functional ERP solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery within stipulated timelines.

- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve intricate taxation and accounting discrepancies within the system.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical financial stakeholders.

- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment across Greater Noida, Delhi NCR, Gurgaon, and Noida, maintaining high productivity and professional standards.

- A solid foundation in finance and accounting, typically supported by a relevant degree or professional certification, combined with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in functional consulting.
