About the Role:

We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong experience in the Travel domain (airlines / tours & packages / OTA / corporate travel) to work closely with business stakeholders, product, and technology teams.

The role is based at our Worli, Mumbai office and will involve end-to-end ownership of requirements from discovery to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyze and document requirements for travel-related products, platforms, and processes.

- Translate business needs into detailed BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and use cases.

- Map and improve end-to-end travel workflows (booking, ticketing, cancellations, refunds, re-issues, GDS/API integrations, payment flows, invoicing, etc.

- Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies for new features or process changes.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and development teams to define solution approach and scope.

- Create and maintain process flows, wireframes, and data flow diagrams where required.

- Coordinate and support UAT prepare test scenarios, review test cases, validate results, and sign-off from business users.

- Track and manage requirements traceability through the project lifecycle.

- Support production issues analysis by understanding business impact and helping with root-cause analysis.

- Prepare and deliver presentations, demos, and training for business and operations teams.

- Ensure all documentation is updated, standardized, and easily retrievable.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in the Travel domain (B2B/B2C travel, corporate travel, OTA, airline, GDS, etc.

- Solid understanding of travel industry concepts such as PNRs, fares, booking engines, GDS (Amadeus / Sabre / Galileo / Travelport), hotel/flight APIs, ancillaries, and payment flows.

- Strong experience in preparing BRD, FRD, SRS, user stories, process documents.

- Hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum methodology and tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities able to interact with business, technology, and senior leadership.

- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and basic tools for diagrams (Visio, Draw.io, Lucidchart, etc.

- Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

Good to Have (Optional):

- Experience working on customer portals, mobile apps, or booking engines in travel.

- Exposure to data/reporting for travel KPIs (bookings, cancellations, revenue, margins, etc.

- Knowledge of APIs and integrations in travel tech ecosystems.

- Any certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Agile (Scrum Master/PO).
