Business Analyst - Transactions - Investment Banking

Responsibilities:

- Assist with the preparation of pitchbooks and financial models for the firm's current and prospective Investors.

- Review financial information as well as market trends, supporting firm's business development strategies for target sectors / Investors.

- Capital structuring and raising Equity funds for the organization.

- Researching and approaching the shortlisted targets through multiple channels.

- Create and implement financial models to review deals and determine profitability.

- Integrate strategy ideas derived from various analysis, forecasts, business plans, and research into presentations for various stakeholders.

- Perform financial and valuation analysis using both industry standard and proprietary models.

- Assist in preparing legal and financial documents related to the transactions.

- Work with key partners in all business lines to assist with data management including but not limited to security reference, credit data, investor data, portfolio setup and pricing data.

- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Skills Desired:

- Experience with raising equity capital right from planning to closure is a must

- Fluency and frameworks, risk assessments, and incident response

- Sound decision making and problem-solving skills and strict attention to details

- Skilled with creating and delivering presentations and creating infographics and dashboards
