Domain: Exposure to the post-trade lifecycle trade settlement, reconciliations and exception management, corporate actions, security master/golden-source data, and reference data ideally across multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives, swaps, futures, OTC). Buy-side, sell-side, or private markets operations backgrounds all work. Exposure to regulatory frameworks like MiFID II, Dodd-Frank, CSDR, or T+1/T+2 settlement cycles is a plus, as is familiarity with custodian data or vendor pricing feeds like Bloomberg or Refinitiv.
Background: Business Analyst, Product BA, Product Owner, or Product Manager from capital markets, financial data, post-trade, or asset-servicing platforms or a Financial Ops professional who has partnered closely with engineering on automation, testing, or UAT.
NO B2B SaaS PM background.
Technical fluency: Hands-on coding isn't required, but candidates should be comfortable discussing APIs vs. file feeds, data schemas, vendor integrations, and architecture trade-offs like batch vs. real-time or build vs. buy.
About the role:
We're looking for a mid-to-senior Product Lead to own roadmap trade-offs and cross-functional delivery working on transaction and reference data modules at the intersection of OMS and operational platforms.
What you'll do:
- Define product specs for Post trade lifecycle, reference data, asset servicing, and OMS-to-accounting workflows
- Work with engineering, operations, and client-facing teams to gather requirements and align priorities
- Research market standards and competitive behavior to inform platform decisions
- Translate client requirements into scalable product solutions
- Build test cases for complex financial data scenarios across asset classes and lifecycle events
- Leverage AI tools for research, analysis, and spec development
What you need:
- 6+ years overall experience; 2+ years in product management
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle across asset classes (equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX)
- Familiarity with reference data, corporate actions, position keeping, and reconciliation
- Experience managing requirements across engineering, ops, and client teams
- Clear written communication specs, release notes, business cases
- Basic technical understanding is a plus (not required)
Ideal background:
BA/Product Owner/Product Manager from capital markets, post-trade, asset-servicing, or financial data platforms OR FinOps professional with strong engineering partnership experience. Strong domain expertise in post-trade operations preferred.
Not a fit: Generic B2B SaaS PMs without capital markets depth.
