Job Summary

As a Business Analyst with Project Management experience, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting business data to help drive key decisions for the company's growth. You will work closely with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external partners to identify opportunities, streamline business processes, and contribute to the development of new business models and market strategies targeted at MSMEs. Your role will also involve managing multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while meeting business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Strategy Development


- Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities within the MSME sector.

- Analyze business performance data to identify gaps, areas of improvement, and opportunities for growth.

- Collaborate with leadership to define business goals and develop actionable strategies.

- Provide recommendations for new business models, revenue generation strategies, and process improvements.

Go-to-Market Strategy

- Work with marketing, sales, and product teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new products/services.

- Design and implement effective pricing, positioning, and distribution strategies tailored to the MSME market.

- Analyze competitive landscape and customer insights to guide strategic decisions.

- Evaluate potential risks and benefits of market entry and expansion initiatives.

Project Management

- Oversee and manage projects related to new business initiatives and process optimization.

- Lead cross-functional teams in delivering key initiatives from conception through execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely delivery.

- Monitor project progress, address potential risks, and ensure projects stay on track and within scope.

- Conduct post-project evaluations to measure success and identify areas for improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication

- Act as a liaison between business units, senior management, and external stakeholders.

- Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders at all levels.

- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather input, resolve issues, and ensure alignment across departments.

Continuous Improvement

- Continuously assess existing business processes and workflows, providing recommendations for improvement.

- Implement tools, technologies, and best practices to drive operational efficiency and enhance business performance.

Required Qualifications

Education:


- Bachelors degree (Business Administration preferred) or Engineering degree with master's in business administration or CA

- Graduate with 5-7 years of experience (preferred is BBA candidate) OR 2-3 years for Engineer + MBA OR CA

Experience:


- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3 years in project management roles, particularly in the MSME sector (bachelors degree)

- Minimum of 03 05 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 2 years in project management roles, particularly in the MSME sector (Engineering + masters degree / CA)

- Strong experience in market research, business strategy development, and go-to-market planning.

- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional projects and leading teams to achieve business outcomes.

Skills & Competencies:


- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.


- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful project execution (knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology a plus).

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Proficiency in business analysis and project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, JIRA, or Asana).

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:


- Experience in the MSME sector or with small to medium-sized businesses.

- Familiarity with digital transformation, fintech, or other emerging trends in the MSME space.

- Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are a plus.
