Role Overview:

The Business Analyst will deliver insurance product implementations with strong domain expertise, bridging business needs and technical solutions to enhance medical insurance operations and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct requirement gathering and documentation using tools like Jira or Confluence, creating detailed BRDs, FRDs, and user stories for medical insurance modules.

- Coordinate with clients for workshops, feedback sessions, and UAT support, ensuring seamless testing and issue resolution.

- Manage change requests, impact analysis, and end-user training programs to facilitate smooth product adoption.

- Analyze business processes for policy issuance, claims adjudication, and provider networks in medical insurance.

- Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to validate implementations against regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Experience:

- Deep knowledge of medical insurance domain, including health claims, TPA processes, IRDAI compliance, and policy lifecycle management.

- 5+ years of BA experience in insurance projects, with proficiency in elicitation techniques and Agile methodologies.

- Preferred experience in product companies, working on SaaS insurance platforms or digital health solutions.

- Strong analytical skills with tools like MS Visio, Excel, SQL for data analysis, and BPMN modeling.

- Excellent communication for stakeholder management and documentation in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Exposure to insurtech trends like AI-powered claims automation, telemedicine integration, or blockchain for secure data exchange.

- Certifications such as CBAP, CSM, or domain-specific insurance analyst credentials.

- Ability to mentor junior BAs and drive process improvements for operational efficiency.
