Business Analyst - Manufacturing

Objectives of the Role:

- Enable MDs office in strategic planning, reviews and execution alignment.

- Drive business analytics and insights across sales, operations, finance and manufacturing.

- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration by ensuring accountability and timely delivery of projects.

- Serve as a trusted advisor and problem solver, bringing clarity and solutions to complex challenges.

- Enhance organizational agility by acting as a bridge between strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Business Support:

- Work with the MD and leadership team on strategy formulation, Annual Operating Plans (AOP), and key functional reviews.

- Prepare market research, competitor intelligence, business models and performance dashboards.

- Analyse business problems and propose data-driven solutions for improved outcomes.

2. Performance Tracking & Business Reviews:

- Drive dashboards, trackers, and business MIS across functionssales, finance, operationsfor clarity and accountability.

- Support MD in strategy development, AOP, business reviews, strategic insights and ad-hoc SBU assessments.

- Support monthly/quarterly business reviews with structured MIS and insights.

- Collaborate with HODs to monitor initiatives and escalate risks proactively.

3. Project Management & Execution Oversight:

- Lead cross-functional projects as the MDs execution armbridging execution with strategy for plants, sales zones, supply chain & corporate functions

- Track progress, surface risks/opportunities and ensure closure through structured follow-ups.

- Support special initiatives and transformation programs on behalf of MD.

4. Operational Insight & Ground-Level Execution:

- Conduct on-ground visits (plants & distribution markets) to validate execution and gather insights.

- Identify gaps between strategy and execution, accordingly, work with respective teams to close them, in a timely manner.

- Act as an independent reviewer to ensure alignment of execution with strategy.
